Consultancy & Partnership
At ARC, we believe in the power of being peer-led and in valuing the knowledge, expertise, and lived experience of adaptive riders themselves. Our approach is rooted in positive, collaborative partnerships that drive real change. Through this work, ARC has helped reshape the landscape of mountain biking in Scotland and continues to pave the way for meaningful integration and long-term improvements for adaptive off-road riders.
We’ve led highly successful consultancy projects with organisations such as Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, Forestry and Land Scotland, Forestry England, the Woodland Trust, the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, Spinal Injuries Scotland, Endura, Trash Free Trails and many others. Our work also includes major route audits, such as the Bike Trossachs Association’s Gravelfoyle waymarked routes and the Kirkpatrick Coast to Coast project with the South of Scotland Destination Alliance.
Alongside consultancy, we deliver regular training for new mountain bike leaders and run in-house volunteer development. We also offer bespoke training opportunities for clubs, organisations, and brands, as well as public speaking and engagement for any group looking to improve outdoor access and make the outdoors more inclusive for all.
